Piedmont Wildflower Walk
Come and see our native Piedmont grassland at its best! This field has never been planted but it’s very diverse. We will be looking for slender lespedeza in full bloom, early goldenrod, and grassleaf goldenrod, among other grassland species. The Clifton Institute's Executive Director Bert Harris will lead this walk through one of our most interesting habitats and teach participants how to identify grassland plants.

Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy is sponsoring a native plant sale with trees, shrubs, flowers, vines and ferns available for purchase from local nurseries.
