NVRC’S Safe Walking Summit III

The Northern Virginia Regional Commission is hosting a Safe Walking Summit showcasing community-led programs by Northern Virginia Families for Safe Streets and Bike Walk RVA. We’ll also hear from Professor Ralph Buehler of Virginia Tech, Mike McGinn, Executive Director of America Walks and former Mayor of Seattle, and local leaders. While this summit will be focused on improving walkability and safe streets in Virginia, the knowledge can be used around the region.
