Dear Supporter,
Change is afoot in Albemarle County. Everything from how growth should be managed and what infrastructure needs to be put in place to how natural resources and historic areas are protected is on the docket in Albemarle County’s Comprehensive Plan update – also called AC44. For the next twenty years, until 2044, land use decisions in Albemarle County will be guided by the results of this process.

I’m sending you this email because you might be interested in being kept more up-to-date and informed about what is happening with AC44.

The Piedmont Environmental Council is working tirelessly to ensure the updated plan is reflective of what community members want for the future of Albemarle. As this process continues heavily through Fall 2023 and into 2024, we expect to send an email with focused updates and requests for action roughly once or twice a month, separate from our general PEC updates.

Please reach out to me with any questions or comments you may have, or if someone you know is interested in joining this special AC44 email list. Should you want to be removed from this list, please let me know.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Rob McGinnis PLA FASLA
