Getting ready for the 2023 season at the Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows

Preparations for the 2023 season are well underway at the Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows! We can’t wait to have volunteers back out in the wake of Spring and to start planting.

2022 was another excellent year for the farm, with 33,000 pounds of produce donated to Loudoun Hunger Relief (bringing our cumulative total to over 100,000 pounds!), our incredible volunteers donated over 1800 hours of their time and energy, and 500 students visited to learn about and connect with agriculture. Not to mention the restoration of soil and water quality, the increase in wildlife habitat, and the many smiles brought on by our community.

In 2023, our goal is to maintain this level of production and volunteer engagement while continuing to improve our soil health through regenerative methods.

There are many exciting things in the works on the community farm – head to https://www.pecva.org/farmvolunteer to learn more and sign up for spring volunteer spots now!
