Farming Workshop: In the Orchard!

Join Gilberts Corner Farm and Land Manager, Dana Melby, for a morning in the orchard at PEC’s Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows.
Learn the basics of pruning tree fruit and berries as well as some tips for establishing your own orchard, whether it’s five trees or five acres! We will also cover orchard maintenance and basic pests/diseases.
This is an outdoor, farm-based event, participants should dress appropriately and wear close-toed shoes. A safety waiver will need to be completed by participants prior to attending.
