Tiffany is a native of Loudoun County, where she graduated from Potomac Falls High School. She went on to graduate from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a BA in Geography, a concentration in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis, and a minor in Psychology. She first joined PEC in 2005 as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) intern, creating maps for the Campaign for Loudoun’s Future. She returned the following summer to assist in the creation of LocalDecisions.org, a database-driven web map of development projects in Loudoun County.
After graduation, Tiff returned to work at PEC as an Information Technology Specialist where she created websites and web-based tools and maps for PEC and its partner groups. As the Director of Information Systems, she currently oversees various aspects of the organization’s technology including strategy, infrastructure management and support, and website design and development.
Tiffany’s interests include Usability and User Experience, GIS and mapping technologies, Technology Policy, and Strategy/IT alignment. She is a member of the Nonprofit Technology Network, Society for Conservation GIS, and the Association for Computing Machinery.
Outside of work, Tiffany spends her free time homebrewing, renovating her house, and gardening. She lives in Old Town Warrenton with her husband, Watsun, and their two animal companions.
