Evan joined the Piedmont Environmental Council in July of 2018. He currently serves as a field representative in Loudoun and Clarke with the majority of his work focusing on various land use issues. Prior to PEC, Evan worked for a civil engineering firm as a Right of Way Manager overseeing utility easement acquisition on the Dominion Strategic Underground Project.

As a western Loudoun County local, specifically Round Hill, Evan spent his formative years exploring the natural areas of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah River near the Appalachian Trail. Extremely interested in safeguarding the unique environmental and historic characteristics of Loudoun County, Evan interned with the Land Trust of Virginia as a Conservation Stewardship Intern and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation as a Land Conservation Management Intern to better understand land conservation practices and processes. Evan received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (Geography and Anthropology) from the University of Richmond.

In his spare time, Evan enjoys cross country running and reading historical non-fiction books.
