This letter from the Wilderness Battlefield Coalition was submitted to the Orange County Planning Commission in advance of its third work session on REZ 22-03, Wilderness Crossing.

PEC and its partner organizations in the Wilderness Battlefield Coalition monitored the proceedings at the two Planning Commission work sessions in January. As the Commission, by law, only has 100 days to make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, the Coalition was concerned that a number of important issues had yet to be addressed by the Commission. The attached letter lays out the Coalition’s outstanding concerns and notifies the County that the Coalition is still engaged and will make sure that the public stays informed and that critical concerns are addressed.
