In this webinar, the Community Climate Collaborative will share the findings of its soon-to-be-released report: Transit Equity and Climate: Moving to a Cleaner Future. ​​​​Building a strong transit system is not easy, but it’s also not a mystery—other cities around the country are leading the way. It is time for Charlottesville and Albemarle to join that leadership.

This event includes a presentation on what transit changes/improvements our community members would like to see happen and what the best practices are for achieving it. There will also be a Q&A.

This event is recommended for climate or social-justice leaders, transit and equity advocates, or enthusiasts in and beyond Charlottesville, VA. The Community Climate Collaborative’s report on this project is slated to be published on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021.
