Plant Northern Piedmont Natives: Changing How We Think About Our Landscapes

October 20, 2020 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm

Learn how to get involved in a new regional native plant campaign!

Native plants are the building blocks of wildlife habitat, but they also clean water and hold soil, provide humans with food and forage for livestock. Natives also give us enjoyment, peace of mind and a sense of place, which is important now more than ever. They are the fabric that holds the natural world together.

This online event is for piedmont residents interested in promoting greater use of native plants in gardening, landscaping and public spaces.

Join Celia Vuocolo, co-chair of the Plant Northern Piedmont Natives Campaign and habitat specialist at The Piedmont Environmental Council to learn about the importance of native plants, how they support biodiversity and the exciting new campaign that aims to change attitudes and behaviors around native plants and how our landscapes are stewarded.

The Zoom webinar information will be emailed to you when you register.
