Unity in the Community Bike Ride

The Charlottesville-based Uhuru Foundation works with moderate to high-risk youth and adults to reduce or eliminate violence in the community.

The approximately four-mile ride will start and finish at Tonsler Park, follow low-stress streets and pay a visit to the new Fifeville Community Trail.

Afterward, there will be a turkey giveaway for those in need.

Here are ways you can help:

Join the ride as a marshall to help keep kids encouraged and safe on the road. (Arrive by 12 p.m.)

Help assemble bikes that are being donated (in pieces, bring tools and arrive by 10 a.m.)
