Forum on Regenerative Agriculture

February 4, 2021 @ 6:30 pm 8:00 pm

Soil Regeneration and Sustainable Agriculture, once mere conservation options, are now economic necessities on Virginia’s farm and grazing lands. On Thursday, February 4th, from 6:30-8:00 pm via online Zoom forum, several groups will explore what works to increase yield and profit and strengthen rural economies, what practices and technologies are new, what are the obstacles and opportunities, and how your elected officials can help.

Join the Richmond, Charlottesville and New River Valley chapters of Citizens’ Climate Education, Virginia farmers and ranchers, Virginia Ag agents, state legislators, and members of Congress for brief presentations and extended Q & A exploration of these issues.

Here are two films they encourage you to watch at your convenience before this event. Realistic and engaging, they give us the perfect starting point for a productive conversation to move Virginia Agriculture forward…Making profit while protecting the land that sustains us all.
