Back to the Basics – Encouraging Biodiversity Throughout Clarke!

May 10, 2023 @ 5:30 pm 7:30 pm

The Piedmont Environmental Council’s Clarke County Land Conservation Fund is excited to host Fritz Reuter, owner of Virginica, LLC. With a focus on indigenous flora, Fritz specializes in sustainable land management design and maintenance. His goal in working with landowners is to establish resilient landscapes that require less intensive management tactics over time and create a lasting connection between the land and caretaker. At this evening program, Fritz will review biodiversity basics, such as the factors contributing to its severe decline and practical advice on what landowners can do to encourage a deep-rooted rewilding of their land.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. This event is free, but registration is required. Due to limited capacity, the event will be capped at 40 participants. This event is free, but registration is required.
