PEC, in cooperation with our excellent partners, offers free planting services, including technical assistance, project design, materials and labor to qualifying landowners in the region, through three location-based programs:

Albemarle and Greene Counties:
- James River Buffer Program: For qualifying landowners in the middle and upper James River watershed. Provided by the James River Association, Virginia Department of Forestry, and Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
Clarke, Loudoun and Fauquier Counties:
- Potomac Planting Program: For qualifying landowners in the Potomac River watershed in Clarke, Loudoun and Fauquier Counties. Partners include the Loudoun, John Marshall and Lord Fairfax Soil Conservation Districts, Virginia Department of Forestry and the Goose Creek Association.
Parts of Fauquier, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Greene, Madison, and Orange Counties
- Headwater Stream Initiative: For qualifying properties in the headwater counties of the Rappahannock River. Offered in partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock.
