Liese Dart Hodges joined PEC in August 2023 as the Senior Strategy & Advancement Officer. Originally from Warrenton, Liese served as a member of the staff and an intern for PEC between 2004-2008. In her current role as strategy & advancement officer, Liese works with PEC’s leadership to advance and secure support for the organization’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.

Prior to joining PEC, Liese worked for The Wilderness Society (TWS), a national nonprofit focused on public lands conservation. At TWS, she served as a renewable policy advisor, the director of the president’s office, and finally, as a major gifts officer, working closely with the organization’s top supporters. Liese holds a graduate degree in environmental history and energy policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and attended Tulane University where she studied studio art and art history. She resides in the city of Falls Church with her family.
