Karen has returned to PEC as a Data Coordinator within our IT Department. Prior to her retirement in 2016, she served as PEC’s Membership Director. While in that position Karen oversaw our database program which included managing our membership, as well as maintaining giving records, renewal notices and acknowledgments.

Karen has extensive non-profit experience. She worked in many positions during her 33 year stint at PEC and during the last 6 years has been a dedicated board member; Vice President and Board Advisor to The Fauquier Education Farm.

Karen holds certifications in multiple CRM programs and has earned Super User status from Blackbaud University in Raiser’s Edge.

She is excited to be back at PEC helping to preserve this part of the Piedmont that she has called home her entire life. Karen loves recreating new recipes, walking country roads and blogging about living the simple, country life in rural Fauquier County. She lives in Midland, VA. With her husband Paul and their rescue pup Frankie.
