Jasmin joined PEC in May 2025 as the Senior Cartographer and GIS Analyst. She graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor’s in International Affairs and then got her Master’s at George Mason University in Geographic and Cartographic Sciences.

Prior to this position, she worked with USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance as a GIS Specialist for over seven years. In all of her roles, she has sought to work for organizations where she can use “GIS for Good,” knowing that maps can be a powerful tool, with which organizations can either help or harm others. As a current Loudoun County resident and Northern VA native, she is deeply concerned about ongoing development and is excited to join PEC to help protect and restore the lands and waters of the place she has long called home.

In her time off, she enjoys arts and crafts, British comedy, and discovering new coffee shops.
