The WildRoots Festival

Engage with nature through outdoor activities, wild edibles, foraging, hunting, and outdoor skills at this free event, hosted by Forrest Green Farm in Louisa, VA!

Participate in the Healthy Living Workshop, where you can join PEC’s Virginia Grassland Birds Initiative Assistant Lauria McShane in Tent B at 11:30 a.m. for a talk about The Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative and bringing back grassland birds.

Then enjoy the food trucks and beer garden, and browse the many vendors.

Additional activities include an archery introduction, trick or treating and a kids costume contest.

PEC will have a table at the event, so stop by and see us!
