Wild & Scenic Film Festival

October 16, 2024 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature–through film. Wild & Scenic shares an urgent call to action, encouraging festival-goers to learn more about what they can do to save our threatened planet.

This is the 3rd year of the Living Earth School hosting this amazing film festival in Charlottesville. Join us to celebrate the wonder of nature and the connections it brings. This year features incredible films ranging from adventurous documentaries to short films on nature all encompassing the theme, ‘Earth Care, People Care.’ The films at meant to inspire, educate, and move the viewers.

All proceeds from the event support The Living Earth School’s mission to provide access for everyone to renew their connections with and care for the earth, and to build healthy relationships with nature, self, and community. This fundraiser event helps provide financial assistance and other funding for such programs.

Piedmont Environmental Council is a supporting sponsor and will have a table of information at the event.
