Protect Catlett Town Hall Meeting – Data Centers and Transmission Lines

Protect Catlett is hosting a town hall meeting on Thurs, Nov. 2 about the potential for new transmission line projects proposed in the Piedmont and surrounding areas tied to the explosive growth of data centers in the region.
PEC staff will be there to help answer questions. Check out our interactive online map of proposed transmission line routes through the link below. On September 5, PJM, the organization that coordinates electricity transmission in 13 states and D.C., published 72 proposals identified as part of its data center load planning initiative.
