Join The Piedmont Environmental Council and Botanical Artist Lara Call Gastinger at the picturesque Montfair Resort Farm for an inspiring Nature Journaling Workshop and book signing event to celebrate Lara’s new publication “A Perpetual Journal Practice: Building a Connection with Nature Through Art”
Take the morning to connect with the natural world through mindful observation, drawing, and writing. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a curious beginner, this workshop will give you the tools to see nature in a whole new way.
We will also be sketching in the new riparian buffer planting at the Montfair Resort Farm pond to showcase the importance of riparian buffers to vegetation, wildlife and recreation.
