Conservation Open House in Etlan

November 21, 2025 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The community is invited to a free, open house at Ducard Vineyards to mingle with each other and conservation practitioners in the area including the Piedmont Environmental Council, the Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative and the Shenandoah National Park Trust.

We hope to meet Etlan landowners and managers and share about the many resources and support that these organizations can offer. Learn about tree planting, invasive plant control, forest management, pollinators, wildlife, adaptive grazing, native plants, dark skies, conservation easements and more.

This is a casual, afternoon event. Show up as you are, but let us know you’re coming. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
