Community Meeting on Energy Infrastructure and Data Centers

October 23, 2023 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

As a follow-up to our recent email alert about data centers and surging electricity demand, we invite you to join us for a community meeting at Buchanan Hall in Upperville, Virginia on Monday, Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to share what we’ve learned about the potential for new transmission line projects proposed in the Piedmont and surrounding areas, as well as new generation to supply the projected demand.

We’ll discuss what is driving the unprecedented level of development proposed for our state, and how it may impact our broader conservation and climate goals for Virginia. We are working to develop solutions to this new challenge for our region and beyond.

Space is limited. Please register in advance: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/community-meeting-on-energy-infrastructure-and-data-centers-tickets-738052885047
