Birding Walk at Roundabout Meadows

October 4, 2024 @ 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Join PEC Wildlife Habitat Restoration Coordinator, October Greenfield, for a birding walk along the newly expanded Old Carolina Road Trail at PEC’s Roundabout Meadows! Possible sightings may include eastern meadowlarks, eastern bluebirds, red-headed woodpeckers, and migrating songbirds and raptors.

The walk will cover approximately ¾ of a mile through rolling pastures and along the Old Carolina Road Trail near Mt. Zion Historic Park near Aldie, VA.

This event is free but registration is required. Space is limited.

Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for longer grass and uneven terrain. Participants should bring their own binoculars.

Parking is at the Mt. Zion Historic Park parking lot. Please note, a waiver is required to participate in this event. A link will be sent to those who register.
