A Night Under the Dark Sky at Maple Glen

March 19 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Maintaining dark skies free of light pollution are important for both wildlife and people. Gather with community members at Maple Glen in Madison County to learn about what we all can do personally and as a collective to protect dark skies along Shenandoah National Park.

Hosted by the Shenandoah National Park Trust and the Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative, there will be hot cocoa and refreshments to accompany our presentation and walk at dusk about the wildlife that rely on dark skies. Dress to be outdoors.

When: Thursday, Mar. 19 at 5-7 p.m. (Note: This date was rescheduled from Feb. 19 due to rain)
Where: Maple Glen in Madison County (Register for exact details)
