A dedicated proponent of servant leadership, Kristen joined the PEC team in early 2026 to align her professional expertise with her passion for the Piedmont. Growing up on a small farm in Hume, she has a lifelong appreciation for the region’s working landscapes and the community that sustains them.

Kristen brings a grounded, hard-working perspective to fiscal management and strategic planning, built on a diverse career that includes managing local John Deere dealerships, serving with local volunteer fire and rescue companies, and working at Highland School.

A “local” in every sense of the word, she is thrilled to apply her legacy of service to the protection of the land she has always called home. Kristen lives locally with her husband, two children, and their dog, Clyde, and bunny, Bonnie. When she isn’t on the sidelines of her daughter’s sports games, she is likely in the kitchen consulting AI for new recipes.
