The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) requests proposals for the construction of the Bolton Branch trout stream restoration project, to be completed by a qualified stream restoration construction contractor in summer 2018 at the project’s site near Huntly, VA. A 30% conceptual design, stream surveys, and site mapping have been completed in the first phase of this project. An engineering firm will complete the final design for the project by June 2018. The selected stream restoration contractor will construct the final design as directed by PEC and the engineering firm, and complete all project deliverables as described in this RFP.

PEC is seeking to hire a field representative to work on land use issues in the southern portion of our region, specifically Albemarle County, the City of Charlottesville and Greene County. Land use issues include the locality's comprehensive plan and ordinances, development proposals, transportation planning and specific projects, local policies and regulations related to rural land preservation and conservation, economic development, natural and historic resource protection, and others as needed.

PEC is seeking to hire a community farm manager to establish and manage PEC’s Roundabout Meadows Community Farm (located in Loudoun County) to grow produce for local food pantries.
