DESCRIPTION:Join The Piedmont Environmental Council in Warrenton or Charlottesville for Virginia Conservation Network‘s annual General Assembly Preview. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhether you’re in-person at a Regional Watch Party or tuning in virtually\, join hundreds of advocates across the state to learn about critical environmental legislative action upcoming in the 2024 General Assembly. This is your best chance to learn about the issues we expect to see during the 2024 General Assembly session\, hear about anticipated environmental legislation from statewide experts\, and (if you join us in person) connect with other conservation advocates from your area! \n\n\n\nPEC will be hosting two of the 13 watch party locations. SUMMARY:Rappahannock County Park Tree Planting
DESCRIPTION:Join PEC at Rappahannock County Park on Wednesday\, December 6 in Washington\, VA. Volunteers will work in two shifts\, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. to plant 200 native trees and shrubs along the Rush River to enhance water quality and wildlife habitat as part of our Headwater Stream Initiative!
