Family Day at the Community Farm

October 13, 2019 11:00 am - 03:00 pm
Location: Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows, Howsers Branch Drive, Aldie, Virginia

In 2019, The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) launched its Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows, which lies between Routes 15 and 50. PEC is partnering with food pantries and other community organizations in Loudoun to increase the availability of fresh produce for those in need.

Like the Fauquier Education Farm, this community farm utilizes community service organizations and other volunteers to “get their hands dirty” and help produce food for food-insecure families. To celebrate the opening of the farm this year, PEC is hosting this Family Day at the Community Farm on Sunday, October 13 from 11am to 3pm. This is a family-friendly event (no pets please) which will feature live music, children's activities, and local food truck vendors (TBA)! $10 per vehicle. Car passes checked at the entrance. Please register in advance so we know how many to expect!
