Rivanna RiverFest

Join Rivanna Conservation Alliance, the Rivanna River Company, The Nature Conservancy, and other local government partners in celebrating and experiencing the Rivanna River!
Rivanna RiverFest kicks off on April 22 with a week of activities and events hosted by local partners and non-profit organizations, including The Piedmont Environmental Council. On May 1, join us at Rivanna River Company for a celebration with food, drink, music and fun! Activities will include:
- Rivanna River Race (6.8 mile canoe and kayak race)
- Fix a Leak 5K Foot Race (virtual registration open now)
- Water Quality Monitoring Demonstrations
- City Nature Challenge
- Pop-up Environmental Education Activities
- Guided Bird Walk at Riverview Park
- and more!
Featuring music from Lua Project and Positive Collective, food from Firefly and Future Coffee Co., and drinks from Potter’s Cider and Three Notch’d Brewing.
