2022 Virginia Certified Farm Succession Coordinator training

The Virginia Cooperative Extension Agribusiness Management & Economics (AME) Program Team is proud to announce the 2022 Virginia Certified Farm Succession Coordinator Training, a two-and-a-half-day skills-building training to be held Monday, March 28 to Wednesday, March 30 in central Virginia (Goochland), with lodging in Short Pump (west end of Richmond).
This training is geared toward individuals looking to add more tools in their toolbox to assist farmers and landowners with farm succession. Often, these are the tools we think of relating to those that attorneys and accountants can offer, but this training will focus on the role of a facilitator and working through family dynamics. We find ourselves being asked by farm families where to start, this training will help give you the knowledge and skills of where to start and help walk them through this process. Cost
$950 per person for registration before February 11, 2022, $1000 per person for registration after. Register by Friday, February 25. Number of participants is limited to 30.

Tuesday, March 29 | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesday, March 30 | 8:00am – 12:00pm
Participants must all attend all three days.
