Marco Sánchez joined PEC's staff in September 2012. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and an Environmental Studies minor. He was the president of The Wildlife Society Student Chapter at MSU and worked to create student engagement through volunteering, community discussions, education, and public outreach. He developed communications strategies using tools such as websites, social networking, video production, and photography. He also had the opportunity to work as a park ranger at both Seney National Wildlife Refuge in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Olympic National Park in Washington.

Marco's interests center around engaging people in environmental issues at a community level. His focus at PEC is online communications, creating web resources, and incorporating social media into PEC's mission.
