Do you wish there were more places to walk, bike and play in Remington?

The Piedmont Environmental Council, in partnership with the Town of Remington, is hosting the Remington Walks Workshop, April 19th – 21st, 2017, to develop a plan for future walking routes, trails, sidewalks, parks and bikeways. Your participation is key to the success of this effort!

There will be a series of initiatives over the three-day time span, including two public presentations.

Join local leaders for:

  • Public Open House and Listening Session
    Remington Methodist Church
    150 W. Bowen St. Remington, VA 22734 
    Wednesday, April 19th, 5:30 – 7:30pm

    Learn about the project and share your ideas! At the Open House and Listening Session, members of the public will be invited to share input and ideas with the project team about future walking routes, sidewalks, trails, parks and bikeways. Refreshments will be provided. Register to attend >>

  • Public Presentation & Community Event
    Remington Methodist Church

    Friday, April 21st, 2017, 6:00pm start

    This will be the final event of the three day workshop. The consultant will present draft recommendations that were developed during the 3-day workshop and take feedback from the community. Dinner will be available at 6pm with project displays around the parish hall for you to review. Afterwards there will be a showing of Star Wars: A Force Awakens.
