Loudoun County has a rich ancient Native American heritage little known across the community. To raise "awareness" of this incredible prehistoric legacy, Dr. David Clark and the Loudoun Archaeological Foundation in partnership with Claude Moore Park, Lanesville Historic District, present an "ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY EXPO".
Experience ancient Native American village technology seen by Captain John Smith in 1608 as he sailed up the Chesapeake to the Potomac. " The program centers on ancient technology revealed by professional archaeology " Stations are accompanied by hands-on archaeological artifact exhibits (artifacts from Loudoun) and techway photo galleries.
