OPPOSE: This General Assembly bill would divert limited resources away from projects that would help reduce congestion in Northern Virginia. (UPDATE: Good news, this bill failed to report out of committee on a 2-5 vote)
OPPOSED: This bill provides a waiver from written examination for licensure as an installer of alternative onsite sewage systems. (UPDATE: continued over to 2011)
OPPOSE: This bill would allow the Joint Commission on Administrative Rules (JCAR), a committee of 12 legislators, to suspend any rule or regulation with the concurrence of the Governor. (UPDATE: This bill was passed by for this year)
OPPOSE: This bill would allow owners of alternative on-site septic systems to be approved as operators of their own system, and prohibits the Dept. of Health from requiring owners provide samples. (UPDATE: This bill was left on the table)
