Blue Ridge Wildlife Center Animal Camp 2011

Location: Pavilion at the BVL Island Farms, 930 Tilthammer Mill Road, Boyce, VA
Dates: Two days a week from June to August 2011 (Dates to be determined and will be posted soon.)
Time: 9:30am to 2:30pm
Tuition: $20 per session per child. (Full and partial scholarships available.)
Ages: Boys and Girls 8 to 13

This summer, look animals in the eye! Have fun and discover animals at Animal Camp sponsored by the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center on the Burwell van Lennep Island Farms in Millwood, Virginia. Children ages 8-13 can hike, create animal art, and meet live animals each week! The camp is held two days a week all summer long, and campers can sign up for all sessions or select specific days to attend. Each week focuses on a type of wildlife (amphibians, raptors, mammals, etc), their habitat and natural history. The registration deadline is Saturday noon prior to each Tuesday session. Limit 8 children per session. If Tuesdays fill, a duplicate session will be offered the next day, Wednesday.
