Registration is currently underway for returning campers, with registration beginning for new campers on March 20, 2011.

Goals
For 27 years our goal has been to help children understand through observation, enjoy through discovery, and appreciate through personal involvement, our natural history.
Program
Campers will be encouraged to explore their surroundings, develop their awareness of our natural world, and learn about the interrelationship of all living things. Pond, stream and river life, field and woodland ecology, and crafts and games will be introduces in an informal noncompetitive atmosphere.
Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of the parents. Lists of campers will be provided to make car-pooling easy.
Enrollment
Enrollment will be limited to 24 children, whose ages correspond with children entering grades 3rd through 6th grades, approximately 8 yrs-11 yrs. There will be one counselor for every 6 children.
Equipment
The program is active and primarily outdoors. Clothing should be comfortable, practical, well-worn, and suitable for the weather. Campers should bring their own lunch and beverages. A mid-morning snack is suggested. Please, think healthy, both for your child and the environment.
Supply List
Everything should be in zip-top bags, including lunch, and fit in the backpack for portability. The following items should be brought every day:
- composition book (recycle one from school if possible)
- writing utensils
- small towel
- extra socks
- whistle
- bandana
- backpack
Registration
To register, please fill in the enclosed form. Early registration is advised. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required with each application and will be applied to the total fee.
Fee
The camp fee is $250 per camper for 2 weeks. Please make checks payable to the Warrenton Garden Club. The deadline for registration is June 1. No refunds will be given after this date.You will receive confirmation of your child's enrollment and a health form to be filed out by the parent. Please return the health form as quickly as possible. Please mail your completed registration form and payment to:

Directions from Warrenton:
Take 211 West for 5 miles.
Turn RIGHT on Leeds Manor Road (Rt 688) for 2 ½ miles.
Turn LEFT on Dulin Ford Road (Rt 798) for ¾ mile.
Bear RIGHT at Chapultepec and follow Camp Signs.
Insurance
The Piedmont Environmental Council will provide insurance coverage to campers for accidents only, with a policy limit of $5000. This coverage is secondary to any other applicable insurance coverage you may have. All risks associated with the camp are assumed by the parents or guardians of campers. The Warrenton Garden Club and the PEC shall not be responsible for accidents or personal injuries of any sort.
