The Potomac River in this area is undeveloped and very scenic. The river is relatively shallow but rocky in places, with a moderate current. Most float downstream, but a fit paddler can go upstream. Requires a basic ability to read a river and pick the proper line. Life jackets are required.

  • Open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week
