Mark your calendars: The Southern Fauquier Historical Society is, in conjunction with the Mary Walters School and the Friends of Monroe Park, sponsoring a Tour 'N Time Program as part of the county's year-long celebration of its 250th anniversary. The event will cover all periods of history from the Queen in 1750's- 1960's Vietnam period and transportation will be provided between three different sites in Fauquier County. The day will provide the opportunity to tour the County's history through living history demonstrations, exhibits and displays designed for hands-on, interactive fun. Anyone interested in participating as part of the day's program should download the flyer or contact Lorene Payne to arrange to be part of this exciting living history day.
