Forest Lakes Farmers Market Announces New Fall Schedule

(Charlottesville, VA) The Piedmont Environmental Council, in cooperation with the Forest Lakes Community Association, is pleased to extend the selling season of the Forest Lakes Farmers Market with new times and locations until the end of the year.

Local residents and visitors can continue to enjoy the bounty of our region's finest fresh produce, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, specialty foods and crafts all year long by shopping during our new fall/holiday schedule. The weekly Tuesday market will be replaced with the following Saturday dates: October 17, November 14 and December 12. In addition to a change of day, the market will be moving indoors to the North Recreation Pavilion & Pool House off of Timberwood Boulevard on Pavilion Circle and the new hours will be from 10 am - 2 pm.

Expect to shop from many of our regular purveyors of Piedmont-grown and produced food, including Tall Cotton Farm, DuCard Vineyards, Broadhead Mountain Farm, Planet Earth Diversified, Balkan Bakery, CCNO, Cloud 9 Timber Solutions, Ben's Baked Goods, Affordable Seasonal Seafood, Cindy's Home Cooking, Mountain View Farms and New Moon Naturals.
