The PEC is working with other environmental organizations to ensure a more unified effort to protect the natural beauty of Rappahannock County. The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, and the Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance are both local organizations that serve to monitor existing environmental issues in the county. PEC has been working with these organizations by holding monthly meetings on specific conservation issues, holding joint landowner workshops on conservation, and providing for general information exchange. Increased coordination among the conservation community will lead to more effective and efficient efforts throughout the county.
