Creekside, a 400-acre site in the southeastern corner of Greene County was approved for 800 single-family homes in 2006. Now the developer wants to change the plan to 600 single-family homes plus 580 townhomes—an almost 50% increase in density.
The Culpeper Soil & Water Conservation District is now offering their popular rainbarrels at a discounted price. The price includes the rain barrel, equipment, instructions, and a 10-minute mini workshop on constructing and using the barrel.
Greene County is considering a rezoning for a development of nearly 1,200 homes--and moving forward on a $35 million water supply plan that banks on rapid growth.

The Planning Commission meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM in the County Board Room, Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville.
The Greene County Board of Supervisors meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Meetings begin with executive session at 5:30 p.m. Public session begins at 7:30 p.m.
