PEC participates in several statewide committees and closely monitors state policies that affect the stewardship of Virginia's natural and cultural resources.
PEC is an active partner in Reconnecting Virginia, which offers transportation strategies based on wise spending and positive land use solutions.
PEC partners closely with the Coalition for Smarter Growth, which advocates for a full range of transportation options and for land-use decisions that will encourage efficient transportation patterns in and around DC.
The Virginia Conservation Network (VCN) is devoted to advancing a common, environmentally sound vision for Virginia. Created in 1990, the Network's membership is comprised of more than 100 groups committed to protecting Virginia's natural resources.
