Nicole graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. That same year, she began her professional career at the National Wildlife Federation, splitting her time between the Development Department and Conservation & Education Programs. After twelve wonderful years at NWF, Nicole joined PEC’s Development team in the fall of 2014 as Development Specialist. She brings to the team a focus on prospect research, events, database management, and membership operations.

Nicole has lived in Virginia for more than twenty years. She spent a majority of those years in the northern region outside of D.C., and in 2011, she moved to Charlottesville with her husband. Having only spent the last three and half years in the Piedmont region, Nicole quickly fell in love with the beauty and rich history, and is incredibly grateful to be working with PEC and the staff dedicated to, and passionate about, conserving the Virginia Piedmont.

In her free time, Nicole loves being with her husband and son. You’ll find them playing outdoors, exploring local parks, cooking & baking, reading, and spending lots of weekend time with close family and friends.
